Horus
Horus
Materials: 18k gold-filled, 10k gold and Lapis Lazuli
Named after the Ancient Egyptian God 'Horus', this talisman has been made in hopes to protect and bring luck to the wearer. Lapis Lazuli, a highly regarded stone in Ancient Egypt, is said to bring power and encourage the honesty of one's spirit. The moon is a feminine symbol and symbolises the rhythm of time, the dagger represents sacrifice, the star represents good and truth, the circle disc represents eternal life and the royal-blue evil eye protects the wearer from malevolent glares. The use of the evil eye pendant dates back 5000 years to the Ancient Egyptian period, when it was believed that when the God Horus opened his eyes the world was enlightened and when he closed them darkness spread.
